Tuesday 27th September 2011 - Taoiseach Enda Kenny today met Sara Mathew, Chairman and CEO, Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), the world’s leading source of commercial information and insight on businesses, to discuss the company’s strategy and the 2012 outlook for D&B’s Irish operations. D&B will grow its operation in Dublin by creating an additional 75 jobs by 2012 in support of the previously announced strategic investments. This will bring the total number of jobs created by D&B in Ireland to 225 after establishing its presence in Dublin over one year ago.
D&B currently employs 150 people in highly skilled roles in Sandyford, Co. Dublin. Today’s announcement follows the company’s previous statement in 2010 that said it would create 150 jobs in Dublin by 2011, with the support of Government through IDA Ireland. Positions currently being recruited by the company include researchers, software developers, analysts and support staff.

D&B’s Dublin-based operation serves customers through a range of technology and operations functions. The centre is responsible for the collection and processing of data on subject companies. As part of its ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction, D&B has in-sourced operations roles from existing off-shore arrangements. Many of these roles have been filled in Dublin.
