Irish-owned outdoor clothing company for kids, Rainbusters, has won the Irish Internet Association’s Best Online Trader award for 2011 and is opening a new outlet.
The ‘Best Online Trader’ is awarded to a company that can “show demonstrable online trading success in the Irish market and the international market, or show how they have successfully revolutionised an existing trading environment”.
“We started this company in the midst of recession and it really shows how success is possible for Irish companies with the right ingredients,” said Rainbusters founder Anna Cannon.
“The combination of our bricks-and-mortar shop and our innovative approach to the internet as an international market place has proved a great success to our business. We pride ourselves in delivering customer Service second to none — this together with our unique product range and keen pricing has been key to the Rainbusters success story.”
Rainbusters own trademarked label is already being distributed to retailers across Ireland and Europe and the company hopes to create 20-30 new jobs over the next two years due to further expected growth.
