Fujitsu Ireland to create 25 new jobs at Dublin HQ

Fujitsu Ireland is creating 25 new jobs at its Dublin HQ. The company currently has 350 people employed in the Republic of Ireland.

The roles are spread across a number of disciplines, which include Oracle, Java and Microsoft development, system administration, project management and team leadership. There is also a new researcher role created in the area of Linked Data.

The jobs have been created due to the growth of Fujitsu’s business and investment in the development of the company in Ireland. Recruitment has already begun and Fujitsu plans to create more new roles at end of the first quarter of 2012.

“These 25 new jobs present an excellent opportunity to be part of the ongoing development of the company in Ireland," said Regina Moran, CEO of Fujitsu Ireland.

“The ICT industry is one sector bucking the negative economic trend and I am very passionate about encouraging school leavers and indeed those considering retraining to look to this industry for their future careers,” she said.

The company delivers integrated offerings, such as consulting, systems integration, managed services and outsourcing to customers to help businesses benefit from their IT investment.

Its existing customer base includes AIB, Airtricity, the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, the Department of Social Protection and University College Dublin.
