Ideas Generation Workshop

Looking for new ideas? Looking for inspiration? Looking for a new way of thinking? Then this course is ideally suited to you. This programme is designed as a first step for those thinking of setting up a new business, but have not yet decided to take the plunge or they don't know how to take it further. The workshop will assist you with generating new ideas, to help the new owner/manager considering setting up a business to get over the hurdles that exist during the idea generation phase.
The Getting Irish Business Online workshop enables businesses and sole traders to build a free website in under 30 minutes which is the first step to building an online business. Blacknight Solutions will provide participants with a free website, and hosting with a .eu or .com domain name which is free for one year from the set-up of their website. Google will also provide a trial of online advertising with a coupon to the value of €100.

The Celtic Marketplace Trade Show 2013 will take place on Sunday 22nd September until Tuesday 24th September in Chicago and Fingal County Enterprise Board is now inviting Fingal based craftworkers to submit expressions of interest. This event attracts huge numbers of trade buyers of ethnic Irish products from across North America and in recent years Fingal craftworkers have successfully broken into the lucrative US market on the back of this and similar trade shows.
The aim of ‘National Women’s Enterprise Day’ is to encourage even more women to set up their own businesses and to increase national recognition of the essential role played by Ireland’s female entrepreneurs. NWED 2013 is co-financed by the European Social Fund with support from the Department of Justice and Equality, through the Equality for Women initiative.
