Green Works have advertised for two work experience positions as follows:
Curriculum Localisation Project for Green Building
Based: Nationwide, but requires checking in/review from the Dublin hub.
Positions available: 2
Preferred candidate: Architect, Arch technologist, Engineer, or other design professional with experience and good research skills. Other candidates who feel they have a relevant background are encouraged to apply. Interest in Sustainable Building required.
Duration: 10-15 full time days, or between 20-30 part time days
Start date: Immediate
Description: This work placement position will involve reviewing hard copies of a specific Green Building course curriculum, noting references that are US or North America based, and researching appropriate Irish/UK/EU replacements for those references to enable the course to be taught in Ireland.

Dublin Green Tour Project
Based: Dublin
Positions available: 2
Preferred candidate: A candidate interested in sustainable tourism, with a good knowledge of Dublin and surrounding areas. Good research and people skills required.
Duration: 10-15 full time days, or between 20-30 part time days
Start date: Immediate
Description: This work placement position will involve designing a Green Tour of Dublin, for both locals and tourist. Tasks will include developing themes, designing the tour, and researching potential site/business partners.
